These big, Crystal Magenta/Pink 28 inch, short necked balloons are available in Double Dipped Light, Double Dipped and Triple Dipped thicknesses.
Single dipped balloons are very much like a traditional balloon. They are delicate and inflate easily. They become a bit hard. They are not squishy.
Double Dipped Light balloons are thicker and stronger than my single dipped balloons but more delicate than my double dipped balloons. Coagulant is used for the first dipped but is not used for the second dip. The result is one thicker layer of latex and one very thin layer of latex.
Double Dipped balloons are strong. Coagulant is used for both the first and second dips. This results in a thicker balloon that will get rock hard and very tight when inflated. It also means there is more latex to stretch. After several inflations they will stretch out, become softer and get quite large.
Triple dipped are very strong balloons that can handle a lot of weight and rough play. They are very hard for the first few inflations and then stretch, become softer and larger.
These balloons will easily reach 24 inches and with a bit of effort 28 inches but can get even larger for those with a bit of courage. After multiple inflations I have seen them become well over 26 inches on becoming a massive 30 inches which was as far as I was willing to push them.
These artisan, handmade balloons are dipped four at a time. Each teardrop shape balloon is unique.
